Department of Political Science

          The Department of Political Science was started in 1970, the year of establishment of our college. During the past 50 years, the dept. of Political Science has grown quantitatively and qualitatively. One Full Time (Management appointment) experienced faculty is serving the department. The dept was well served by the faculties like Shri. B.C Hombal, Shri.S.K.Jangaleppagoudar and Shri. M.Y. Bulagannavar. A noteworthy fact is that Shri. B.C Hombal and Shri.S. K. Jangaleppagoudarwereserved the Institution as Principals. Presently Miss. Swati Kattiis serving the Department.

Course Outcome

  • Understand Political Science, theoretically and will gain knowledge to Explain and analyze politics at large.
  • Understand the dynamics of politics.
  • Reflect upon some of the important debates in Political Theory.
  • The main objective of this course is to develop tomorrow’s administrators by    Imparting basic knowledge about Administrative Skills, Communication ability decision-making behavior and leadership qualities.
  • Understand the reasons behind the causes of these issues and also the constitutional provisions that existed
  • Explain the functioning of the Indian government and the performance of both the union and the state governments
  • Understand the procedural aspects of parliamentary system of governments.
