DEPARTMENT OF KANNADA
One of the prominent departments of the college is the dept of Kannada. It was started in 1970, the year of establishment of the College. one full Time qualified and experienced staff is serving the department. The department was well served by the faculties like Dr.Sangamesh Handagi, Shri. A.S. Hiremath, Shri. C.S. Hosamath, Shri. P.G Hiremath, Shri. S.S. Kadammanavar. A noteworthy Fact is that Dr. Sangamesh Handagi is well known Kannada writer of The region. He Has written 36 Books. Shri.C.S Hosamath who later served the Institution as the principal also enriched Kannada literature by his writings. Presently Dr. M. N. Harogeri is The HOD of the department.
