DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The department of physical education started in the year 1970. The department has a rich legacy for it’s commitment and achievement under the Karnatak University, Dharwad. The department produced 88 University Blue student in various sports. The department conducts and organises many Zonal Level Sports during this period. Sri. I. S. Pujar served as the  Director of Physical Education from 1970 to 2005. Presently Dr. A. G. Jakkanagoudar serving as the Director of Physical Education. Under the directorship of Dr. A. G. Jakkanagoudar 27 students got selected for university team (University Blues).
